Flumadine 'RIMANTADINE' is an antiviral agent. It treats or prevents certain influenza (flu) infections. Rimantadine is not an effective treatment for colds or for other viruses. Generic rimantadine tablets are not yet available.

Take rimantadine tablets by mouth. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Swallow tablets with a drink of water. Take rimantadine with food if it upsets your stomach.
